Moving right along...

Well, so far we have been presented to two birth moms/birth parents. One was last week and when the agency called to let us know we were not chosen for that one she let us know about another situation. So, we will be presented to that birth mom and dad this week. We feel very good about that situation but I am trying not too get my hopes up too much. The birth mom is due in December so that would be super fast for us - I am a bit pessimistic so have a very hard time believing it could happen for us that quickly. BUT, I know that God is SO in control and His hands are guiding this whole process, so who knows what can happen! We should know something by next Monday at the latest but hopefully by Friday. But if we are not chosen then that is not the situation God has for us and we will keep praying for the one that He does have in store for us. But please pray for this birth mom that God gives her wisdom in choosing a family and that she remains stead fast in her adoption plan no matter who she chooses. Pray for patience for both of us and that God prepares us as we wait. Also, we are working on getting our financing together (Plan A and several back up plans depending on the timing of our match). We hope to have our ABBA fund (no interest adoption loan) application submitted tomorrow- pray that we are able to get that, as it would be the best way for us to finance the adoption.
